HSI ends up 11 pts at 17,739; TEH up 18 pts at 3,640
[ET Net News Agency, 17 July 2024] The Hang Seng Index closed up 11 points, or less
than 0.1% at 17,739; with market turnover of 104.96b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises
Index closed down 19 points, or 0.3% at 6,297; the Hang Seng TECH Index closed up 18
points, or 0.5% at 3,640.
TENCENT(00700), CNOOC(00883) and BABA-SW(09988) saw largest turnover among HSI
constituents; TENCENT closed down HK$6.2, or 1.6% to HK$371.8, with turnover of HK$9.63b;
CNOOC closed down HK$1.15, or 5.2% to HK$21.15, with turnover of HK$5.15b; BABA-SW closed
up HK$0.8, or 1.1% to HK$76.3, with turnover of HK$3.3b. TENCENT, CNOOC and BABA-SW saw
largest turnover among CEI constituents. TENCENT, BABA-SW and MEITUAN-W(03690) saw largest
turnover among TEH constituents; MEITUAN-W closed up HK$1.6, or 1.4% to HK$119.1, with
turnover of HK$2.76b.(ed)
