HSI ends up 11 pts at 17,739; TEH up 30 pts at 3,653
[ET Net News Agency, 17 July 2024] The Hang Seng Index closed up 11 points, or less
than 0.1% at 17,739; with market turnover of 56.69b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index
closed down 12 points, or 0.2% at 6,303; the Hang Seng TECH Index closed up 30 points, or
0.8% at 3,653.
TENCENT(00700), CNOOC(00883) and BABA-SW(09988) saw largest turnover among HSI
constituents; TENCENT closed down HK$5, or 1.3% to HK$373, with turnover of HK$5.84b;
CNOOC closed down HK$1.15, or 5.2% to HK$21.15, with turnover of HK$3.29b; BABA-SW closed
up HK$0.7, or 0.9% to HK$76.2, with turnover of HK$1.55b. TENCENT, CNOOC and BABA-SW saw
largest turnover among CEI constituents. TENCENT, BABA-SW and MEITUAN-W(03690) saw largest
turnover among TEH constituents; MEITUAN-W closed up HK$1.1, or 0.9% to HK$118.6, with
turnover of HK$1.16b.(ed)
