U.S. stocks were closed on Monday. The Hang Seng Index opened slightly lower by 13 points in the morning, opening at 18,814 points. It rose 107 points, or 0.6%, to 18,935 points in half a day; the HSCEI Index rose 43 points, or 0.6%, to 6,731 points; the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 30 points. points or 0.8%, reported at 3,895 points. The total half-day turnover of the market was HK$55.2 billion. Alibaba Health (241) performed well after announcing its results, rising 12.7%, driving peers JD Health (6618) and Ping An Good Doctor (1833) rose 4.8% and 4.8% respectively. Energy stocks rose, with oil stocks PetroChina (857) and CNOOC (883) rose 3% and 2.2% respectively.
