Hong Kong stock market repeatedly fell today, with the HSI opening 24 points lower. It initially rose 77 points and then fell back. It fell 114 points or 0.6% at mid-day to 19,856; the HSCEI fell 26 points or 0.4% to 7,159; the HSTECH fell 44 points or 1%, to 4,434. The mid-day market turnover was HK$64.27bn. Domestic airline stocks collectively fell today, with China Southern Airlines (1055), China Eastern Airlines (0670) and Air China (0753) falling 3.3%, 4.3% and 6.9% respectively. Mainland property stocks generally fell, with Agile (3383), China Overseas (0688) and Longfor (0960) falling between 2.4% and 3.4%.
