After the Hang Seng Index opened 105 points lower and opened at 17,008 points, the index once fell 187 points and narrowed to a drop of 4 points throughout the day, at 17,109 points; the HSCEI Index rose 10 points, or 0.1%, to 6,035 points; the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 11 points. or 0.3%, at 3,384 points. The total daily turnover of the market was HK$87.9 billion. Nexteer (1316)'s interim net profit fell 54%, and its stock price plummeted 18%. Tencent (700) also announced its results last night, and its performance was generally better than expected. However, management said that it was negotiating with Apple on mini-game revenue sharing, and its stock price fell by 1.4% today.
