Hong Kong stock market rose first and then fell in a narrow range today. The HSI opened 88 points higher and then fell back, falling 71 points or 0.4% today to 19,688; the HSCEI fell 23 points or 0.3% to close at 7,135; the HSTECH fell 8 points or 0.2% to close at 4,395. The total daily market turnover was HK$121.64bn. Domestic demand stocks generally fell, with share prices of Taobao (6110) and CRB (0291) falling between 3% and 5.3%. Geely (0175) said its total vehicle sales target in 2027 will exceed 5mn units, and its stock price rose 0.1% today.
