After being closed for a day due to weather on Friday, the Hang Seng Index opened 261 points lower at 17,941 points, the decline expanded, falling 105 points or 0.58% to 18,096 point. The H-Share Index fell 16 points or 0.25% to 6,298 point. The Hang Seng Technology Index fell 8 points, or 0.2%, to 4,083 point. The market turnover was HK$124.4 bn. China and Hong Kong real estate stocks fell, with SHKP (00016) falling more than 9%, with a record low, New World Development (17) falling more than 6%, Country Garden (2007) and Longfor (960) also suffering losses and falling 3.7%
