Hong Kong stocks turned weak this morning. The HSI once rose 74 points and then fell 25 points in mid-day. The HSI closed at 19,172 today, up 23 points or 0.1%. The HSTECH closed at 4,001, up 29 points or 0.8%. The HSCEI rose 16 points, or 0.3%, to 6,521. Market turnover was 79.32bn. EV sector performed well today, with NIO (9866), Xpeng Motors (9868) and Li Auto (2015) rising between 2.8% and 11.2%. China tech stocks performed differently. Tencent (0700) and Alibaba fell 1.5% and 1.3% respectively, while Meituan (3690) rose 0.7%.
