The Hang Seng Index opened 162 points higher, the momentum has once drive the index to rise 210 points to 16,908 points, but It ended the day down 51 points or 0.3%, at 16,647 points. The China Enterprises Index fell 24 points or 0.4%, to 5,852 points. The Hang Seng Tech Index rose 3 points or 0.1%, to 3,342 points. The total market turnover for the day was HKD 96.4 billion. Tencent (700) continued to fall by 0.6% to HKD 354.4, while Alibaba (9988) rebounded by 1.4% to HKD 72.25. After announcing its results, Wharf Real Estate (1997) regain momentum and rose 1.5% to HKD 20.1.
