On the first trading day of October, the Hang Seng Index gave up all its gains from last Friday. The Hang Seng Index opened 263 points lower at 17,546 points. The full-day decline expanded to 478 points, or 2.7%, to 17,331 points. The H-Share Index fell 199 points. or 3.2%, to 5,949 points. The Hang Seng Technology Index fell 103 points, or 2.6%, to 3,817 points. The market turnover was HK$86.1 bn. Evergrande (3333 rose more than 28% after resume trading. After New World Development (17) announced its results, its share price fell more than 5%. On the other hand, Tracker Fund (2800) fell nearly 3%, with turnover reach HK$12.5 billion.
