The Hang Seng Index opened 45 points higher this morning, at 16,275 points, and the day's gain expanded to 124 points, or 0.7%, to 16,353 points; the H-Share Index rose 43 points, or 0.7%, to 5,657 points; the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 26 points, or 0.8%, reported 3,385 points. The total daily turnover of the market was HK$86.7 billion. Xinyi’s maintained its upward trend after the results announced earlier. Today, Xinyi Solar (968) and Xinyi Glass (868) rose 9.4% and 4.7% respectively. WuXi AppTec (2359) rebounded 4% today after its stock price plummeted yesterday due to the US bill.
