As the market waits to see the US president election and the China People's Congress meeting, Hong Kong stock market fluctuated today. The HSI opened 78 points higher and then fell 60 points. The index then turned higher, rising 61 points or 0.3% today to close at 20,567; the HSCEI rose 24 points or 0.3% to close at 7,367; the HSTECH rose 48 points or 1.1% to close at 4,532. The total market turnover narrowed to HK$116.23bn. Ctrip (9961) rose 4.8% today, the largest increase among blue-chip stocks. Xiaomi (1810)’s Double 11 all-channel cumulative payment amount exceeded RMb18bn, and its stock price closed flat today.
