U.S. stocks were closed on Monday. The Hang Seng Index opened slightly lower by 13 points in the morning, opening at 18,814 points. It fell 6 points throughout the day to 18,821 points; the HSCEI Index fell 2 points to 6,686 points; the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 10 points or 0.2% to 3,854 points. The total daily turnover of the market was HK$97.7 billion. Alibaba Health (241) performed well after announcing its results, rising 10.1%, driving peers JD Health (6618) and Ping An Good Doctor (1833) to rise 2.3% and 3.1% respectively. Energy stocks rose, with oil stocks PetroChina (857) and CNOOC (883) rising 2.1% and 0.7% respectively.
