Market Roundup
The Hong Kong stock market was under pressure. The Hang Seng Index opened down 184 points at 20,576 points, and by midday, it had fallen 205 points or 1% to 20,555 points. The China Enterprises Index dropped 92 points or 1.2% to 7,386 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 82 points or 1.7% to 4,524 points. The total market turnover for the half-day was HKD 95.1 billion. Regarding new listings, HorizonRobot (9660) once surged by 30%, but by midday, the increase narrowed to 7.2%. On its second day of listing, China Resources Beverage (2460) fell by 8.5% to HKD 15.26.
