Half Day Roundup

The Hang Seng Index opened 28 points lower at 20,859 points. The half-day drop extended to 207 points at 20,680 point. The China Enterprises Index fell 82 points or 1.1% to 6,982 point; the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 107 points or 2.5% to 4,204 point. Half-day market turnover was HK$56.5bn. HSBC (0005) fell 0.6% to HK$58.4. China telecom stocks continued to perform well. China Mobile (0941), China Unicom (0762) and China Telecom (0728) rose 0.3%, 3% and 1% respectively. JD.com (9618) fell 6.8% to HK$193.3.
