Hong Kong stock market fell today. After opening 470 points lower, the HSI once expanded to drop 576 points. It fell 439 points or 2.1% at mid-day to 20,288; the HSCEI fell 158 points or 2.1% to 7,302; the HSTECH fell 71 points or 1.5% at 4,597. The total mid-day market turnover was HK$113.92bn. The U.S. reportedly asked TSM (TSM.US) to stop supplying AI chips to China. SMIC (0981) rose against market to 5.4%. Mainland property stocks generally fell, with stocks such as COLI (0688), Longfor (0960) and Vanke (2202) falling between 4.7% and 8.0%.
