China announced third-quarter GDP growth of 4.9% YoY, higher than market forecast of 4.5%. Hong Kong stocks rose and fell today. The HSI opened 45 points lower and then rebounded to 17,831. It still fell 18 points or 0.1% to 17,755 in mid-day. The HSCEI rose 1 point, or 0.02%, to 6,093; the HSTECH fell 46 points, or 1.2%, to 3,789. The total half-day turnover of the market was HK$44.12bn. BYD Electronics (0285) and BYD (1211) issued profit alerts respectively. BYD Electronics rose 3.4%, and BYD rose nearly 8%. Anta (2020) aims to maintain double-digit growth in Anta brand revenue in the next three years, and the stock rose 2.3%
