Hong Kong stock market was weak today and few transactions. The HSI opened 17 points lower. It dropped 255 points to 20,394 in the morning, and then narrowed the decline. The HSI fell 100 points or 0.5% to 20,549; the HSCEI fell 48 points or 0.69% to 6,954; the HSTECH fell 37 points or 0.9% to 4,164. The market's mid-day turnover totaled HK$49.63bn. Chinese technology sector generally fell today, Alibaba (9988) and Tencent fell 0.7% and 1.1% respectively. Auto sector was weak today, XPEV (9868) and NIO (9866) fell 5.3% and 4.5%.
