As the market waits to see the coming FOMC meeting, Hong Kong stock market fell repeatedly in the morning. The HSI opened 117 points lower and fell 174 points at the beginning. The decline later narrowed, falling 95 points or 0.5% today, to close at 19,700; the HSCEI fell 27 points, or 0.4%, to close at 7,105; the HSTECH fell 25 points, or 0.6%, to 4,389. The total daily market turnover was HK$132.0bn. Sporting goods seller Topball (6110)'s 3Q24 sales fell by single digits yoy but beat consensus, and its stock price rose 4.4%.
