Hong Kong stock market continued to perform well today. The HSI opened 114 points higher and then expanded its gains. It rose 282 points or 1.7% at mid-day to 16,870; the HSCEI rose 117 points or 2% to 5,866; the HSTECH rose 104 points or 3%, reported 3,586. The total half-day turnover of the market was HK$63.11bn. Xiaomi (01810) will release the SU7 car on the 28th of March, and its stock price rose 9.6%. Other electric vehicle stocks generally rose, with gains ranging from 2.2% to 6.0%. CIMC Vehicles (1839) plans to acquire H shares for HK$7.5 and delist, and the stock price rose 1.8%.
