Hong Kong stock market was mixed today. The HSI opened 13 points higher and then fell 69 points, but rose 11 points or 0.1% today to close at 17,739; the HSCEI fell 19 points or 0.3% to close at 6,297; the HSTECH rose 18 points or 0.5% to close at 3,640. The total daily turnover of the market was HK$104.96bn. Today, the "China valuation" stocks generally fell, with the share prices of Sinopec (0386), CNOOC (0883) and PetroChina (0857) falling by 4.4%, 5.2% and 5.8% respectively. Telecom stocks China Telecom (0728) and China Unicom (0762) fell 6.4% and 3.7% respectively.
