The Hang Seng Index opened 52 points lower, at 16,159 points, and its half-day decline expanded to 152 points, or 0.9%, to 16,060 points; the China National Index fell 82 points, or 1.5%, to 5,386 points; the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 88 points, or 2.6%, to 3,222 points. The total half-day turnover of the market was HK$56.5 billion. In the Mainland, 115 domestically produced online games received approval this month, but Tencent (700) followed the market and retreated 1.7%. Today, Lenovo (992) suffered an 8.6% drop in share price due to an article in the US "Newsweek" stating that the US government offices should ban the use of Lenovo computers.
