Hong Kong stock market rose today. The HSI opened 26 points higher and expanded its gains. It rose 261 points or 1.3% today to close at 20,760. The HSCEI rose 115 points or 1.6% to close at 7,478. The HSTECH rose 83 points or 1.9% to close at 4,605 . The total market turnover rebounded to HK$192.65bn. Automobile stocks continued to perform well, with Geely (0175) and Li Auto (2015) rising 6.6% and 6.3% respectively. The U.S. Department of Commerce plans to partially revoke anti-dumping and countervailing duties on Chinese photovoltaic cells. New energy stocks performed well, with GCL (3800) and Flat Glass (6865) rising 25% and 13.2% respectively.
