Hong Kong stock market followed the weakness of A-shares today. The HSI opened 14 points lower and then fell repeatedly. It fell 108 points or 0.6% at mid-day to 17,361; the HSCEI fell 31 points or 0.5% to 6,163; the HSTECH fell 30 points or 0.9% at 3,514. The total mid-day market turnover was HK$42.88bn. Chip equipment stock ASMPT (0522) announced half-year results, in which 3Q24 revenue guidance was lower than expected. The stock price fell 19.5% at mid-day. NetEase (9999)'s mobile game "NARAKA: BLADEPOINT" has more than 40mn pre-booked players for the public beta, and its stock price was 4.8% at mid-day.
