Hong Kong stocks performed well today. The HSI opened 32 points higher and expanded its gains, rising 100 points or 0.5% today to close at 20,590; the HSCEI rose 26 points or 0.4% to close at 7,385; the HSTECH rose 54 points or 1.2% to close at 4,538. The total daily market turnover was HK$161.26bn. Premier Li Qiang expressed the need to further unleash the development potential of photovoltaics energy. Photovoltaic-related stocks surged today, with individual stocks such as Xinyi Solar (0968), Flat Glass (6865) and GCL Technology (3800) rising between 12% and 60%. %. The largest shareholder of Pop Mart (9992) sold shares at a discount of up to 5.5% to cash out no more than HK$1.6bn, and the stock price fell 6.7%.
