The Loan Prime Rate (LPR) remained unchanged. The Hang Seng Index opened 55 points lower but fluctuated upwards, once rising by 123 points to a high of 19,875 points. It ended the day down 31 points or 0.2%, closing at 19,720 points. The China Enterprises Index fell 8 points or 0.1%, closing at 7,143 points. The Hang Seng Tech Index rose 4 points or 0.1%, closing at 4,444 points. The total market turnover for the day was HKD 178.46 billion. Last month, China's total electricity consumption increased by 2.8% year-on-year, slowing down compared to October. Coal stocks Shenhua (1088) and China Coal (1898) fell by 3.4% and 6.4%, respectively
