The Hang Seng Index closed at 24,771 points, up 31 points or 0.12%. The Hang Seng Tech Index closed at 6,041 points, down 64 points or 1.05%. The Hang Seng Index fell 14 points, or 0.15%, to 9,164 points. Meituan (3690) fell 0.8% and Tencent (700) fell 0.2%. The best performing stocks today were beer stocks, with China Resources Beer (291) and Budweiser Brewing Company (1876) rose 5.4% and 6.4% respectively.
