On the first trading day of November, the Hang Seng Index opened 111 points higher at 20,428 points and expanded its gains to 189 points or 0.9% for the day, closing at 20,506 points. The China Enterprises Index rose 78 points or 1.1% to 7,342 points, while the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 15 points or 0.3% to 4,484 points. The total market turnover for the day was HKD 141.48 billion. Li Auto (2015) provided a fourth-quarter earnings guidance that was below market expectations, causing its stock price to drop by 9.6%. On the other hand, Xiaomi (1810) continued to hit new highs, rising by 2.2% to HKD 27.3.
