U.S. long-term bonds continued to rise, and Hong Kong stocks came under pressure. The Hang Seng Index opened 119 points lower at 17,053 points and fell 180 points or 1% to 16,991 points at market close. The CEI fell 72 points, or 1.2%, to 5,799 points; the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 39 points, or 1.1%, to 3,623 points. The market turnover was HK$89.9 bin. Hansoh Pharmaceuticals (3692) issued global medicine development rights, and its share price rose 12% to HK$12.74, making it the best-performing blue-chip stock. ZTE (763)'s third-quarter revenue came under pressure, and its stock price fell 12% to HK$18.
