Hong Kong stock market opened lower today. The HSI opened lower by 64 points. It fell 139 points in morning and hit a low of 20,299. Then, it rebounded significantly after that. The HSI rose 110 points or 0.5% in mid-day to 20,548; the HSCEI rose 31 points or 0.45% to 6,945; the HSTECH rose 22 points or 0.5% to 4,186. The market's mid-day turnover totaled HK$60.6bn. The opening of the Shanghai Auto Show is coming soon. Auto sector performed well today. EV stocks Xpeng (9868) and Nio (9866) rose 8.4% and 5.3% respectively. Mainland airline stocks performed well, Air China (0753) and China Southern Airlines (1055) both rose more than 4%.
