On the first trading day of November, the Hang Seng Index opened 111 points higher at 20,428 points. By midday, the increase expanded to 318 points or 1.57%, reaching 20,636 points. The China Enterprises Index rose 132 points or 1.8% to 7,396 points, while the Hang Seng Tech Index increased by 35 points or 0.8% to 4,534 points. The total market turnover for the half-day was HKD 86.8 billion. Li Auto (2015) saw its stock price drop by 7.1% due to fourth-quarter performance guidance falling short of market expectations. On the other hand, Xiaomi (1810) continued to hit new highs, rising by 2.2% to HKD 27.3.
