Half Day Roundup

The Hang Seng Index opened 130 points lower at 20,438 points, then rose 8 points in half a day to 20,576 points. The China Enterprises Index fell 24 points or 0.4% to 6,915 point; the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 40 points or 1% to 4,171 point. Half-day market turnover was HK$63.4 bn. TV Broadcasting (511) jumped another 25% to HK$7.32. Alibaba (9988) and Tencent (700) fell 1%, while Meituan (3690) rose 0.8%. Mainland property management stocks fell. Country Garden Services (6098) fell over 7% to HK$14.84.
