Half Day Roundup

The market is waiting to see the US inflation data released this week, and Hong Kong stock market fluctuated within a narrow range today. After opening 12 points higher, the HSI rose 72 points to 17,162. The half-day fluctuation was less than 160 points. The HSI closed up 8 points or 0.05% to 17,098 at mid-day; the HSCEI rose 5 points or 0.09% to 6,023; the HSTECH fell 10 points or 0.3% to 3,426. The total half-day turnover of the market was HK$39.85bn. Domestic demand stocks generally fell today, with BUD APAC (1876) and Anta (02020) falling 2.5% and 2.1% respectively. Bilibili (9626) fell for the fourth consecutive day, falling 7.6% at mid-day.
