The Hang Seng Index ended its 10th consecutive day of gains. The index softened slightly today. The Hang Seng Index fell slightly by 1 point in the early morning and opened at 18,577 points. It fell 99 points or 0.5% to 18,479 points for today. The HSCEI Index fell 45 points or 0.7%. reported 6,526 points; the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 85 points, or 2.1%, to 3,922 points. The total daily turnover of the market was HK$113.4 billion. Meituan (3690) fell nearly 4%, NetEase (9999) fell 4.9%, and Alibaba (9988) fell 1.8%. Kingboard Laminates (1888) and Pop Mart (9992) bucked the trend and rose 7.4% and 3.8% respectively.
