Market Roundup

Hong Kong stock market repeatedly fell today. The HSI opened 24 points lower. It rose 77 points in the morning and then fell back. It fell 175 points or 0.9% to close at 19,795. The HSCEI fell 53 points or 0.8% to close at 7,132. The HSTECH fell 64 points or 1.4%, closing at 4,414. The total daily market turnover was HK$134.07bn. Domestic airline stocks collectively fell today, with China Southern Airlines (1055), China Eastern Airlines (0670) and Air China (0753) falling 3.5%, 5.7% and 7.2% respectively. Mainland property stocks generally fell, with Agile (3383), China Overseas (0688) and Longfor (0960) falling between 3% and 5%.
