Half Day Roundup

The Hang Seng Index opened 204 points higher at 18,283 points, and closed at 18,498 points in the first half of the day, up 418 points or 2.3%. The Hang Seng Technology Index reported at 3,791 points, up 100 points or 2.7%. The HSCEI Index rose 171 points or 2.7% to 6,564 points. The total half-day turnover of the market was HK$81.8 billion. Numbers of EV stocks announced May sales data, BYD (1211) and Li Auto (2015) both rose nearly 6%. OEPC announced the extension of production cuts, and the share prices of PetroChina (857) and CNOOC (883) both rose 3%, reaching new highs.
