The Hang Seng Index opened 106 points higher at 19,850 points. It fell 20 points or 0.1% in half a day to 19,724 points; The H-Share Index rose 14 points or 0.2% to 6,709 points; the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 47 points or 1.2% to 3,910 points. The market's half-day turnover was HK$ 58.9 bn. JD.com (9618) rose 7% to HK$114.5 after the announcement of its results. SMIC (981) rose 2.2% to HK$20.6 after the results. China Hongqiao (1378) fell 8.4% to HK$6.75, the worst performing blue chip.
