Hong Kong stock market was mixed today. After opening 13 points higher, the HSI fell 69 points, but rose 11 points or 0.1% at mid-day to 17,739; the HSCEI fell 12 points or 0.2% to 6,303; the HSTECH rose 30 points or 0.9%, reported at 3,653. The total mid-day turnover of the market was HK$56.69bn. Today, "China valuation" concept stocks generally fell, with the share prices of Sinopec (0386), PetroChina (0857) and CNOOC (0883) falling by more than 5%. Telecom stocks China Telecom (0728) and China Unicom (0762) fell 5.2% and 3.9% respectively.
