Last Friday, U.S. stocks closed down. The Hang Seng Index opened 44 points lower at 18,846 points. Half day fell 27 points, or 0.1%, to 18,863 point; The China Enterprises Index rose 8 points or 0.1% to 6,403 points; the Hang Seng Technology Index rose 11 points or 0.3% to 3,890 points. The market's half-day turnover was HK$ 45.2 bn. Today, electric power stocks rallied. China Resources Power (836) rose more than 6%, China Power (2380) rose more than 5%, and China Longyuan Power (916) rose 3%. So as the power equipment counters, Goldwind Technology (2208) rose 12% to HK$5.4 in the half-day.
