U.S. bonds continued to rise and U.S. stocks came under pressure. The Hang Seng Index opened 192 points lower at 17,540 points. At noon, the decline widened to 346 points, or 1.9%, to 17,387 points. The H-Share Index fell 121 points, or 1.99%, to 5,954 points. The Hang Seng Technology Index fell 70 points, or 1.86%, to 3,701 points. The total half-day turnover of the market was NT$45.3 billion. The market lowered its forecast for the growth of e-commerce online GMV in the fourth quarter, with JD.com (9618) and EasyBuy(1797) fell 5.1% and 6% respectively. EV stocks were generally under pressure today, with Nio(9866) and Xpeng (9868) both fell more than 8%. Even though BYD (1211) issued a positive estimated results, the stock still fell 2.7%.
