Hong Kong stock market fluctuated sharply downward today due to the decline of the A-shares. The HSI opened 363 points higher and then fell 736 points. In the afternoon, it was reported that the finance ministry will introduce the situation of increasing fiscal policy. The HSI once rose and then fell again. It finally fell 289 points today, or 1.4%, to close at 20,637; the HSCEI fell 118 points, or 1.6%, to close at 7,365; the HSTECH fell 55 points, or 1.2%, to close at 4,640. The total daily market turnover was HK$427.01bn. Chinese property stocks generally fell, with losses ranging from 2.7% to 9.4%. Mainland brokerage stocks generally fell, with CGS (6881) and CICC (3908) falling 9.0% and 10.4% respectively.
