Hong Kong stock market continued to be stimulated by the "DeepSeek" concept, and the index only fluctuated today. The HSI opened 134 points higher and then fell 115 points, before rebounding 41 points or 0.2% to 22,661 points at mid-day; the HSCEI rose 4 points to 8,336; and the HSTECH fell 6 points to 5,519. The market's mid-day turnover was HK$252.84bn. Tencent (0700)'s WeChat connected to DeepSeek for testing, and its share price rose 4.3% at mid-day. Lei Jun expects Xiaomi (1810) to maintain a growth rate of more than 30% this year. Xiaomi fell 0.3% at mid-day.
